That cherry salsa sounds delicious -- it would be great on grilled chicken or fish, yum! Seeing you pack stuff into your baskets reminds me that I need baskets on my bike, too. I always end up trying to bungee cord things on to my bike rack. The photo of your sandwich inspires me to try making my own cherry bread and cherry chicken salad. Looks great. I also was curious how their pie compared to David's. Guess he answered it in the comments.

My favorite photo is of you lying on the grass and your Note to Self. Have you heard of the term "earthing?" It is a concept that promotes activities which ground you to the earth--like walking barefoot--as a form of healing. Energy fields from the earth (free elctrons) transfer potent antioxidants into your body. Makes perfect sense to me.

Big EZ Travelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04042182363320148353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4309293625176086078.post-32651777016757606132014-06-15T09:20:47.195-04:002014-06-15T09:20:47.195-04:00We enjoyed the Platte River and the Cherry Republi...We enjoyed the Platte River and the Cherry Republic too! Glen Arbor is a great little town . . . although very crowded in the later summer! That hike you did was the one I referred to the other day. I am partial to apple but have only once or twice found any that taste as good as my mothers did, so I tend to stick to cherry. We had a piece of vegan strawberry-rhubarb in Fort Bragg, CA that was excellent. People way up north like here and Acadia in Maine seem to know how to bake great fruit pies. Lots of time to practice during the long winters I guess.
