It would've been quite a sight to see him lumbering up those stairs. I can imagine you and dad discussing how far to follow :) Those falls must look amazing in a non-drought year! Too bad the river was too low for a paddle. I really enjoyed following the water tracks of what must have been a bear. That was fun, & beautiful weather & falls too! You've had a summer of so many beautiful waterfalls. We enjoy looking at and speculating about animal tracks, too—the bear "tracks" we usually see are just big piles of berry-filled poop, though. :-)Laurel (www.ravenandchickadee.com)https://www.blogger.com/profile/09133248112440273123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4309293625176086078.post-60120261040693578582016-11-03T10:53:02.650-04:002016-11-03T10:53:02.650-04:00Wow, you're just a couple of miles from my dad...Wow, you're just a couple of miles from my dad's house. I know this area well and if you were wishing for a bear leaving those footprints, you're probably right. There are a lot of black bears calling this area home. I've seen them many times. It would have been interesting to get a glimpse of your 'other' wonderer though not eye to eye. I love visiting library's, they often reflect the personality of the town or workers.
